Join us at this year’s New Bedford Ocean Economy Conference! Our 3rd annual conference is a unique and immersive industry event located in historic downtown New Bedford. The program includes tours, panel discussions, workshops, and more across four program tracks: Aquaculture, Commercial Fishing and Processing, Marine Innovations and Technology, and Offshore Renewables. The event will also include an industry exhibition to provide a vibrant platform for networking and showcasing the latest products, services, and technological advancements. Join us in historic downtown New Bedford to network with blue economy leaders, local businesses, and key stakeholders at the forefront of advancing the ocean economy in New Bedford and beyond. Please note that the pre-con tours are open to main conference attendees only, and additional fees apply.

Blue Economy Ecosystem Tour. Limited to 50 attendees - $50 OPEN
Visit some of the Port of New Bedford’s most valuable land-based assets contributing to the growth of its ocean economy. Attendees will travel by bus to multiple facilities and speak with leaders in industry, economic development, academia, and more. A round table lunch is included.
Tour of West Island Oyster Farm. Limited to 20 attendees - $50 OPEN
Come experience all things oyster farming at West Island Oysters! Attendees will see the farm, participate in shucking demonstrations, and learn about oyster farming practices, industry trends, and the challenges and opportunities to scaling this important sector. After the tour, attendees will enjoy an oyster tasting. Transportation provided.
Sunset Port Tour. Limited to 75 attendees - $30 OPEN
Learn about the nation's most valuable fishing port aboard the Cuttyhunk Ferry! Port and industry officials will provide a fun, guided tour of the harbor. Attendees will experience up close the history and culture of the port and learn about how the marine economy is expanding to include new industries such as offshore wind.
